The short version is, if you comment, subscribe or buy from us we keep some of your details (your name, e-mail address and shipping address). We keep these because we are data squirrel hoarders and have heart palpations at the idea of deleting anything. Also we actually need them to send you the updates or stuff you’ve asked us to send and deal with any future issues.
If you don’t want us keeping your data or want to delete all the data we have on you then you can ask us delete it using this handy page.
What personal data we collect
When you interact with our site we store the information that you provide us with. This can include your name, email address and postal address. The ways in which you can interact with us are by commenting on a post, contacting us through the aptly named Contact Us page, subscribing and making purchases.
When you browse our site we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Who we share your data with
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. These providers have their own privacy policies which govern the way in which they handle your personal information and we recommend reading those to see how they manage your data.
When you click on links on our site, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, comment on an article, contact us or subscribe, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. There is no secondary processing of your personal information. For example we do not view commenting on an article as consent for us sending you marketing information.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
If after you opt-in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How long we retain your data
We store your data indefinitely because in many cases the data is associated with either comments, registration or purchases all of which may require future contact either by us or opted notifications from comment replies.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
We endear to always keep the site backend updated with all the latest security protocols as well as run extra backups and checks on the database using Wordfence Security.
